Our History
Founded in 1978, our school has served the Catholic community of Mississauga for over four decades. What began as a small elementary school with just eight classrooms and a dedicated staff of ten has since grown into a vibrant hub of learning, faith, and service.
Built to meet the needs of a growing Catholic population in the Dufferin-Peel region, our school was established by the Dufferin-Peel Roman Catholic Separate School Board (now DPCDSB) with the goal of providing a Christ-centred education grounded in academic excellence and Gospel values.
In the early years, the school was closely connected to St. Anne's Parish, which played a vital role in the spiritual formation of students through liturgical celebrations and sacramental preparation. By the mid-1990s, expanding enrollment led to the construction of a new wing, adding a library, computer lab, and additional classrooms to support the evolving needs of 21st-century learners.
Throughout its history, our school has been recognized for its inclusive environment, commitment to Catholic Social Teaching, and active participation in community outreach. From food drives and mission trips to student-led liturgies and artistic performances, our students have always been encouraged to live out their faith in meaningful ways.
As we continue to grow and adapt to the changing needs of our students and society, we remain grounded in our founding vision: to educate the whole child — mind, body, and spirit — in partnership with family, parish, and community.
Today, we proudly serve over 500 students from Kindergarten to Grade 8, continuing a legacy of Catholic education that inspires hope, cultivates faith, and promotes lifelong learning.
